SMS students now have more opportunities to make some noise and embrace the music!
5th & 6th graders are invited to join the after school choir program from 4-5 p.m. on Wednesday afternoons in the school's music room with Ms. Oglesby. Anyone in 5th and 6th grade can join! The first rehearsal is Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from 4-5 p.m. Come try it and see if you like it! Join the After School Choir!
For 6th, 7th and 8th graders we again have jazz band! Practice will begin on Tuesday, August 31 at 7 a.m. The program will focus on more advanced jazz, Latin, rock and swing music. Practices will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-7:45 a.m. in the music room of the middle school. Try it out and see if you want to join! Let Ms. Oglesby know in the band room if you are interested!
